AFTERCARE

Step 1. Second Skin Bandage

Keep the bandage on for 3-4 days. (Please avoid workouts or sweat build up underneath the bandage)

The best timing to remove the bandage would be while taking a shower, in running water.

When you remove it, try to do it gently by pulling the edges along your skin. Once the bandage is removed, give it a gentle rinse with water and unscented soap to remove any plasma, ink, blood build up on the skin.

If you notice any abnormalities such as itchiness, swelling, pimples, remove the bandage as soon as you notice. Also please contact me to update me on the status or if you have any question.

Once the bandage is off, rinsed and clean, dry it off with a clean towel or air-dry. Time for the aftercare: moisturizing.

(If there is adhesive residue, : use warm water and unscented soap. Gently rub it to loosen the stickiness. However, do not try to forcefully take all the adhesive residue as your skin is still tender and sensitive. They will naturally in time all come off)

Step 2. Ointment

You can use unscented lotion or tattoo aftercare cream for aftercare products.

Moisturizie.

I recommend moisturizing 3-5 times a day. Only apply a very thin layer everytime. (Do not lather the freshly tattooed area with a thick coat of moisturizer)

Keep it clean.

Avoid having the tattoo in a body of water for a long period of time. (Treat your tattoo as a fresh wound that needs caring and love).
Showering is fine as long as it’s through running water.

Always keep your tattoo CLEAN. If you do any workouts that result in sweating, please rinse your tattoo afterwards to keep it clean OR skip workouts while the bandage is applied.

Step 3. After the tattoo is fully healed

Touch Up.

You have ONE free touch up within the first 6 months of getting your tattoo. You do not need a touch up if the tattoo has healed well. The touch up is only for tattoo that require it. Please send me a healed picture of your tattoo (1-2 months) and we will discuss touch ups if needed and book you in.

Sunscreen. Sunscreen. Suncreen.

Apply sunscreen on your tattoo if you are enjoying the sun.
